Ruto Leads By 55% In Mt Kenya; Infotrak Polls

Infotrak Research and Consulting has released their survey poll results, less than 30 days to the general election. This preliminary popularity survey exposed that Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja is in the lead with 43%, and William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Coalition as runners-up with 37%. George Wajackoyah came in as the second runners-up with 4% popularity and finally, David Waihiga who accumulated 0.1% of the opinion polls.

Mt. Kenya

  1. Raila Odinga – 24%
  2. William Ruto – 55%
  3. George Wajackoyah – 4%
  4. David Mwaure Waihiga- 0.2%
  5. Undecided – 16%

South Rift

  1. Raila Odinga – 30%
  2. William Ruto – 58%
  3. George Wajackoyah – 3%
  4. David Mwaure Waihiga- 0.1%
  5. Undecided – 14%

Nyanza

  1. Raila Odinga – 73%
  2. William Ruto – 11%
  3. George Wajackoyah – 3%
  4. David Mwaure Waihiga- 0.1%
  5. Undecided – 12%

Eastern Kenya

  1. Raila Odinga – 46%
  2. William Ruto – 11%
  3. George Wajackoyah – 3%

Nairobi County

  1. Raila Odinga – 49%
  2. William Ruto – 30%
  3. George Wajackoyah – 5%

Who has lost and who has gained?

  • In the coastal region, Raila Odinga lost nothing, while Ruto lost 2%.
  • In Northern, Raila Gained 3% while Ruto lost 2%.
  • In Lower Eastern, Raila gained 13% due to Kalonzo’s support, while Ruto lost 7%.
  • In Mt Kenya, Raila lost 3% while Ruto gained 3%.
  • In South Rift, Raila gained 5% while Ruto lost 5%.
  • In North Rift, Raila gained 4% while Ruto gained 2%.
  • In Nyanza, Raila didn’t gain or lose while Ruto lost 1%.
  • In Western, Raila lost 2% and Ruto lost 3%.
  • In Nairobi, Raila lost 1% and Ruto lost nothing.
  • Overall survey exposed that Raila had lost 1% while Ruto had gained 1%.
