I dare proclaim myself as an established political analyst. I have sat down and analysed the Kenyan politics since 2002 and I have established that Ruto William Samoei is and has always been a time landmark. He is a definite point in time that cannot be changed or altered, even if people make different life decisions.
My point is, politically speaking, that no one could stop Ruto from becoming president elect. Movie fanatics will totally understand this. The concept of time traveling is really complicated. However, in every time theory, there is always a time landmark that doesn’t change regardless of a decision made by people.
Let me break it down for you:
What If Ruto Remained Raila’s Running Mate Since 2007
From history, Ruto William was Raila’s running mate in 2007, best known for post election violence. Over 1200 people died due to civil war and 600,000+ people got displaced.
Genuinely speaking, elections were rigged in favour of Mwai Kibaki.
International bodies linked William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta to the post election violence that saw a major fallout between the ODM Chieftain and his subordinate William Samoei Ruto.

Many have said that Raila shouldn’t have divorced Ruto. From my perspective, yes, Ruto would have made Raila president just like he made Uhuru President.
If that relationship had worked out and Raila became president for 10 years, Ruto would have been the 5th president of Kenya, and Uhuru Kenyatta would still be leading his Ichaweri brothers to a ‘Canaan’ that would probably never come.
Ruto Did Divorce Raila And Married Uhuru Kenyatta

However, Ruto broke away from Raila and it seems that the Hague case brought the two political lovebirds (Uhuru and Ruto) together. They shared a lot in common. They were both branded as thugs and corruption lords by international news publishers such as Al-jazeera, BBC, CNN to mention but a few.
Regardless, the duo outsmarted the Odinga-Kalonzo team in 2013 and 2017. Uhuru Kenyatta, seeing that his victory was spearheaded by Ruto’s resilience and Rift-Valley (Kalenjin) support, asked his GEMA brothers and sisters to make him (Ruto) the fifth president of Kenya.
Rising Above The ‘System’ and Beating Raila
Uhuru fell out with Ruto, and this marked one of the biggest political betrayals in the history of Kenyan politics. A new marriage was forged, between Raila and Uhuru. The main purpose was to make Raila the 5th president.
This did not happen. Ruto, from a highly disadvantaged position, managed to rise above the ‘system’.

I am not defending anyone here. There have been allegations of electoral malpractices and rigging. Even if they were true, Ruto still did outsmart the state. His strategists clearly knew more than the state’s security intelligence.

Raila’s 5th failure at making himself the president of Kenya was really embarrassing.
Why Was Raila Embarrassed By His 5th Failure?

He had all resources at his disposal and had the support of his brother Uhuru Kenyatta. Nothing seems to work for this man. The tale of his father cursing him never to be President may be true. No one can ascertain this though.
Mudavadi and Wetangula, The Grand Schemers

Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi clearly had intel that Ruto was rolling boulder that could not be stopped by anything on its path. Flipping both sided of the coin still showed Ruto’s face. He was meant to be the 5th president of Kenya.
The two grand schemers made up their minds and joined the Kenya Kwanza bandwagon. They are set to reap big from this relationship.

Kalonzo Musyoka’s Tough Regrets
Kalonzo Musyoka on the other hand may have been regretting his political decisions, and secretly planning on how to join Kenya Kwanza.
In politics, anything is possible. Everyone in it is there for self interest.
Kenyans Are Now Wiser Than Ever
Kenyans have probably realized this and have resorted not to engage in conflict with each other. At the end of the day, all Kenyans will be impacted by the price of Unga and Menengai Soap.
