Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Boss Wafula Chebukati has made public that one of their returning officers, Mr. Daniel Musyoka, has gone missing since Thursday 11th August at around 9.00PM.

Mr. Wafula Chebukati stated that the commission is deeply concerned over the missing IEBC official.

Case File

The IEBC boss said that the returning officer left his home with his bodyguard, arrived in his respective tallying center and went out to receive a call.

The returning officer did not come back after going out to pick his call.

The IEBC, friends and family have since tried to reach the missing officer to no avail.



Mr. Chebukati requested the Kenyan security force to look into the matter as soon as possible so as to recover the missing individual.

Insecurity and Hacking Attempts

This is the first report of insecurity among the IEBC staff in the 2022 General Election.

This report by the IEBC boss clearly spells out malicious operations going on in the background, in addition to the reported ‘Over 200’ attempts to hack the IEBC system.

Ruto; Citizen TV is Biased Towards Raila

Meanwhile, DP William Ruto on the same Friday 12th, asked Citizen TV to declare publicly that they Support the Azimio chieftain Raila Odinga. This he said, is not a problem to him.

He further said that NTV, Inooro and other Royal Media Services stations have been giving preference to Raila Odinga. He gave an example where Azimio was given 10 minutes in news reports whereas Kenya Kwanza got less than 5 minutes.

The aspiring president branded Citizen TV/’Azimio TV’ biased. More information on this as soon as it’s gathered.
