DP William Ruto has raised eyebrows after asking the President of the Republic of Kenya not to kill his children due to political indifferences. The DP told off the Uhuru Kenyatta over his recent attack on Kenya Kwanza camp.
Speaking in a campaign trail in Kabsabet on Friday 29th July, the DP decided to dive head-first into dangerous political accusations against Uhuru Kenyatta, asking him to stop meddling in Kenya Kwanza affairs. He said that he should focus on his ally Raila Odinga instead of mentioning him (William Ruto) in political campaigns against Kenya Kwanza alliance.
“Leave me alone!”
“Mr. President, stop talking about me. Talk about your candidate. Mtuambie huyu mtu wa kitendawili atawacha kung’oa reli lini. Atawacha kujiapisha lini. Atawacha kuvuruga Kenya lini. Na utuambie agenda ya huyo jamaa,” Ruto chastised.

This comes a less than two weeks to the general elections. Uhuru Kenyatta is coming to the end of his tenure as the commander in chief of the armed forces and the UDA bandwagon, led by Mr. Samoei Ruto, is campaigning to succeed him.
Amidst his humongous crowd, the DP reminded the president that he won the previous elections only because of the help that he received from William Ruto, and for that reason, he should be humble and retire silently.
Wachana na William Ruto. I supported you when you needed a man to support you, if you don’t want to support me, leave me alone! Mimi na wewe tuheshimiane.
Ruto intimated.
Hata kama umenifanya yale yote umenifanya, mimi ni mngwana na mkristo na nitahakikisha umeenda nyumbani pole pole bila shida.
Ruto further spoke.

“Don’t harm my children!”
He particularly emphasized that Uhuru Kenyatta should not threaten him and his children, a statement that has brought mixed reactions among many Kenyans.

Ruto exclaimed
“Who are you to threaten me? What will you do? Just don’t harm my children. Let’s respect each other!” translation.
The above statement by William Ruto was met by jubilation as his Kapsabet supporters chanted “Yote yawezekana bila Uhuru!”
This comes after President Kenyatta sensitized Nakuru residents to elect Mr. Odinga. His Excellency Kenyatta dismissed Ruto’s brigade as ‘politically immature’ to lead the country after the August polls.
Social media affairs
On social media, Kenyans haven’t been left behind in matters relating to this viral campaign. Supporters of the Kenya Kwanza train have given their accolade to Ruto for calling out the president, whereas harsh critiques have asked the DP to stop being personal in political campaigns.
